Manufacturing Engineer
Develop, support, and improve manufacturing processes for existing and new products, manufacturing methods, and equipment. Provide insight, analytics, and recommendations for manufacturing facility.
Reports To: Process Engineer Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop the knowledge and skills to be the subject matter expert for equipment used in manufacturing.
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes to seek improvements.
- Assess, develop, and implement process changes based on detailed engineering analysis.
- Develop, execute, and document engineering studies and associated technical reports.
- Write and execute qualification and validation protocols and reports for equipment in manufacturing.
- Create or revise SOPs for equipment use and set up.
- Develop and manage multiple project timelines concurrently.
- Adherence to GDP and GMP for food, dietary supplements, and drugs.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address problems and implement improvements.
- Identify and reduce risk in current and future processes.
- Work with QA to investigate root causes for recurring complaints and process failures/gaps.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical).
- Ability to work in an individual and team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Computer: Microsoft Office, Solidworks, Minitab, AutoCAD.
- Project Management skills including prioritization and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
