Process Engineer - Automated Manufacturing - Flex : Job Details

The Process Engineer - Automated Manufacturing will be based in Buffalo Grove, reporting to the Systems and Projects Engineering Manager and shall oversee process engineering capabilities focused on new products, processes, automation, manufacturing process improvements as well as internal engineering systems improvements. Responsibilities:Identify suitable manufacturing process, technologies, techniques based on product and operational requirements. Define and evaluate proposed equipment and processes for product manufacturability. Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters. Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies. Prepare justification, purchase, manage equipment vendors and commission capital equipment for production. Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
