Moog is the worldwide leader of advanced flight controls and actuation for commercial and military aircraft. We are positioned on virtually every aircraft flying today, supplying highly reliable systems that are supportable and add significant value for our customers.

Moog is hiring a Process Development Leader to support our Military Aircraft Group. In this role, you will report to the Operations Excellence Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields, with 5-7 years of relevant experience.

• Plan, organize, and follow-up on Kaizens, acting as the main facilitative leader, driving and managing the project.
• Balance leading, active participation, and coaching to develop solutions and implement them.
• Guide a team through investigation, data analysis, problem breakdown, root cause analysis, implementation, and evaluation of results.
• Develop processes that ensure the implementation of lean principles, waste reduction, and process variation control.
• Apply problem-solving processes through A3 thinking, 8-step problem solving, and Kaizen Events.
• Encourage, motivate, and foster an environment for continuous improvement.
• Support the selection, mentoring, and development of future leaders through Lean teachings and coaching.
• Develop skills to be an effective facilitator, partner, planner, enabler, motivator, taskmaster, and guide.
• Coach, remove barriers, collaborate with other departments, and conduct organized meetings.
• Lead presentations with confidence and clarity, engaging diverse audiences.
• Serve as the primary speaker and focal point during meetings, training sessions, or group discussions, demonstrating strong presence and command of the room.

Buffalo, NY: $75,000 - $90,000 annually

The salary range reflects the low and high ends for this position in the location. Actual salaries depend on experience, performance, and other factors. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
