Primary Focus:
- Data sourcing and analysis for parts consumption globally
- Identifying regions consuming parts and related sourcing decisions
- Working with the cross-functional team (Engineering, Supplier Development, Procurement)
- Support sourcing for parts, especially Drive & Trip components
- Compiling data and supporting PQP (Product Quality Planning) process
Responsibilities:
- Identifying where parts are consumed around the world, including global regions (North America, India primarily).
- Gathering data on parts usage, suppliers, and related sourcing decisions.
- Analyzing performance and cost data related to the parts.
- Leading teams and ensuring effective communication across Engineering, Procurement, and Supplier Development teams.
- Compiling information from different teams and supporting the execution of sourcing strategies.
- Sourcing decision execution for parts, supporting suppliers, and assisting with project management tasks.
Key Qualifications:
- Engineering experience with a focus on mechanical systems or components is a plus.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
Experience:
- Open to new graduates or candidates with more experience.
- Looking for a candidate with experience in designing user experiences or possessing strong design knowledge, particularly with Drive and Trip Drive components.
- The ideal candidate should have a background as a support engineer, with proven strategies and solid experience in technical support and customer engagement
- Not required to have prior supplier or design experience but should demonstrate an interest in supply chain or supplier development.
Work Hours & Flexibility:
- Standard work hours (8-4) but flexibility for occasional global team calls outside of regular hours (evening/morning meetings).
