Cascadia Healthcare is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist (PRN) to provide high-quality respiratory care to our residents. - Administer respiratory care services including oxygen therapy, therapeutic gas, and mist inhalation in accordance with physician orders.
- Provide ventilator and tracheotomy care, as well as non-invasive therapies such as CPAP and BIPAP.
- Assess patient needs, develop and modify treatment plans, and document patient progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient goals.
- Collect and assist with analysis of blood gas samples.
- Educate staff, patients, and families on respiratory care procedures and therapies.
- Support and supervise Respiratory Therapy Assistants (RTAs) as needed.

- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Program and a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC) Associate or Bachelors in Respiratory - health sciences or business management related fields preferred.
Licenses/Certification
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Experience with Trach Care and Ventilator Management in skilled nursing home, LTACH or hospital setting.
- Current CPR certification.
Experience
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
