PRN Hospital Pharmacy Technician - Cardinal Health : Job Details

The Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy helps the Pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. This includes the preparation of and filling of prescriptions, taking pharmacy inventory and processing product returns. Cardinal Health operates the Pharmacy located at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. We are currently recruiting for a PRN Hospital Pharmacy Technician to work on an as needed basis. Responsibilities Assists the Pharmacist as needed, permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy. Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Inputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system. Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory. Communicates with all customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
