The Opportunity Are you passionate about healthcare and skilled at connecting with patients? We are seeking a talented PRN (as needed) Phlebotomist to join our vibrant team of healthcare professionals. This position offers flexible scheduling, diverse work environments, and the rewarding experience of making a positive impact on patients' health journeys.
What We Do
At All Events: Our priority is staffing with skilled phlebotomists. You may be responsible for participant registration, biometric screening, blood drawing, or a combination of these roles. Onsite training is provided for event operations and for the use of CardioChek+ machines and A1cNow cartridge testing, as necessary. The role also includes setting up and taking down all equipment and supplies under the guidance of our experienced senior staff. Dress code: solid black scrubs and closed-toe shoes. Paid pre-event virtual training via Microsoft Teams.
Your Impact As a Phlebotomist, you will:
What You Bring Requirements include a current Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification or equivalent, valid state licensure where applicable, and proven expertise in blood collection techniques and biometric measurements. We value exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, CPR certification, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a cohesive team. Bilingual abilities are a plus, and strong technology skills are essential for using iPads for data entry. Reliable transportation for travel between screening locations is necessary. Physical requirements include comfort with standing and walking throughout your shift and the ability to lift equipment and supplies (up to 25 pounds).
