Prior Authorization Specialist - Insight Global : Job Details

JOB DESCRIPTION

A closed door pharmacy in the St. Louis, MO area is looking to hire 4 Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialists. This role will include assisting in the initiation of new prior auth requests, identifying correct forms required for patients insurance, coordinating information for forms, and following up with medical offices. These individuals must have experience working in a previous pharmacy setting and must have a strong ability to multitask. Shift: 40hours/week ( rotational shifts between 9am-8pm) Rotating schedules from 8 AM - 4 PM CST and 9 AM -5 PM CST with 11 AM -7 PM CST shift around every two months *** All shifts require one or two Saturdays in a month shift from 8 AM -4 PM CST

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1+ year experience working in a Pharmacy prior authorization setting

• Strong customer service skills

• High school diploma or GED

• Flexibly to work shifts ranging from 8 am - 8 pm

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Pharmacy Tech License Knowledge of Pharmacy Benefits and Claims
