Printer Support Technician - Manhattan, NY - Merge IT : Job Details

Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add a Printer Support Technician to work onsite in Manhattan, NY. Please see below for full details:Job Notes:-12-14 month contact-ASAP start date-Onsite in Manhattan, NY-Drug & Background required.-HP OEM certifcation required.-Pay Rate = $35-37 w2 per hourRESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshooting/testing of network printers Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes (IMAC) of printers and consumables Enter accurate inventory of Network Printer storage facilities Test and document hardware issues of Network Printers Set up shelving as needed Maintain accurate inventory and support records Document and report on all work performed Acquire, stage, and deploy, printers, and peripherals Produce verbal and written status reports with emphasis on high-profile issues Adhere to company and business unit policies and standards Establish and maintain relationships with service providers, manufacturers, resellers and contractors Exercise discretion as appropriate Create system and support documentation as requiredREQUIREMENTS Well-developed sense of urgency Self-driven with little direction Enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude Maintain a professional appearance Enjoy working on a team and comfortable sharing responsibilities Superior customer service and people skills Superior organizational/administrative skills Must be an exceptional communicator Field experience supporting a variety of technologies and services (see below) Advanced technical abilities including solid troubleshooting skills Networking knowledge with an emphasis on TCP/IP protocol, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory Work and complete projects with minimal supervision Attention to detail Ability to juggle time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations while maintaining professionalism under pressure Business Casual Dress Reliable transportation Lift, carry and transport computer and printer equipment Why Choose Merge IT?We have a team of talented and ambitious professionals that drive growth by identifying and delivering top quality IT talent for our Fortune 100, enterprise-level clients (aka Big Name - think big banks, big pharma, etc.).We would love to connect with you!
