We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Principle Systems Engineer - BMD SME to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role involves facilitating modeling, simulation, and analysis of future concepts that shape the Missile Defense System (MDS) and address Warfighter needs.

• Facilitating the definition of future concepts for modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Acting as a subject matter expert in future concept definition, architecture analysis, and reviewing preliminary results
• Assessing MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities; developing system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level
• Supporting modeling & simulation efforts, including analysis on DoD HPC
• Developing analysis plans, executing simulations, analyzing results, and preparing reports

• Master's Degree in STEM with 12+ years in missile defense or similar large DoD programs
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS / SCI
• Extensive experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of missile defense architectures
• Deep understanding of current MDS architecture and future concepts

• Active TS / SCI Clearance
• Experience with advanced modeling algorithms and simulations for MDS architectures
• Experience with MDS architectures involving directed and kinetic energy weapons, future concepts, MATLAB and/or Python, HPC, MBSE
• Supporting systems engineering architecture design activities
• Technology assessment & analysis skills
• Experience with multidisciplinary analysis, threat characterization, RF and EO/IR sensing/signatures
• Proven report coauthoring and contributions to MDS studies
• Experience with Cyber security gaps, mitigations, and architecture
• Collaborative experience with DoD, industry, and other agencies

Security Clearance Requirements: Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance.

Education Requirements: Master's Degree in STEM.

Other Requirements: Must be a US citizen capable of holding a Secret Security Clearance.
