deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Principal Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

deciBel Research seeks an experienced Test Engineer to support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The successful candidate will support the program's GSS IPT, and will be responsible for scheduling tests, monitoring, measuring, controlling, and reporting on test progress, product quality, and results. The role requires adapting the test plan as needed to accommodate evolving conditions.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM-related field.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years with Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with Master's degree, or 1+ years with PhD.
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and executing test plans, integration plans, and procedures for system-level testing.
• Ability to interpret requirements and test guidance effectively.
• Proven experience in developing testing criteria to meet requirements.
• Experience in C++ development.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting.
• Experience using Eggplant.
• Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.

Desired Skills:

• Security+ certification.
• Previous GMD experience.
• Previous missile defense experience.
• Familiarity with Java.
• Experience with Cameo.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.

Additional Requirements:

Applicant must have an active Secret security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
