Job Number: 366 Job Category: GovTech Job Title: PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER with AZURE (366)- VIRGINIA - URGENT Job Type: Full-time Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI - Full Scope Polygraph Work Arrangement: On-site Job Location: Fort Belvoir VA Salary: 195K Background * Interfaces with Government, Diamond team, and users to architect and design data warehouse approach and cloud infrastructure with emphasis on Azure implementations* Leads engineering and administrator activities for cloud-based data solutions* Develops server and storage virtualization strategy incorporating Microsoft Purview and Advana Data Catalog* Implements and maintains Zero Trust Data Pillar requirements, ensuring proper data classification, access controls, and security measures* Engineers cloud environment with focus on data governance and catalog implementation* Supports Scrum Master in planning and sizing tasks for cloud implementation projects Requirements * Bachelor degree + 16 years or Master degree + 14 years experience or 20 years of experience* Experience analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications for cloud environments* Experience providing expert guidance and direction to senior level technicians and engineers on cloud migration and implementation* Demonstrated expertise with Azure cloud services, particularly related to data management* Experience with enterprise data governance and security frameworks in cloud environments Preferred * Knowledge of data catalog implementation and management, preferably with MS Azure Purview
