Principal Specialist, Accounting & Controllership (Hybrid) - Raytheon : Job Details

RTX has an immediate hybrid opportunity within the Enterprise Services Accounting team in the RTX Enterprise Services organization for a Senior Analyst, Accounting & Controllership. The ES Payroll Accounting team within Accounting & Controllership, is a small team that oversees payroll across all RTX domestic business units. The selected team member will develop a well-rounded understanding of the RTX payroll accounting structure and system. The experience gained will provide a foundation for continued broadening of financial experience at RTX.

What You Will Do

• Support the monthly payroll process for Rockwell Collins SAP accounting ledger.
• Ensuring compliance with key internal control procedures
• Preparing and posting complex journal entries
• Completing account reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
• Provide reporting and support analysis to Finance leads across Rockwell Collins and BE Aerospace.
• Assist with internal and external auditor requests
• Act as a resource for other Payroll Accounting team members to analyze and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems
• Participate in critical projects, collaborating with Payroll Operations, Payroll Tax, HR, Benefits Finance, 3rd party vendors, Digital Technology, Internal Controls and the SBU's.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant financial/accounting experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP and strong MS Excel skills

• Knowledge of payroll accounting and financial statements.

• Prior experience working with additional RTX Finance Tools (ADP, Ev5, SAP-PR1).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
