If you are a motivated and experienced RFIC Designer with skills and interest in designing RF blocks used in numerous cellphones, Skyworks' IP team is looking for you!

As part of Skyworks' IP development team, you will work on silicon RF products and develop RF IPs used across the company. Your responsibilities include designing RF circuits such as LNAs, PAs, and switches.

You will explore, devise, and prototype various RF circuits to enhance Skyworks' competitive position. The work involves close interaction with product teams to meet or exceed customer requirements, devising and cataloging various LNA and switch topologies, and supporting RF IP integration, customization, and performance verification through simulation. You will also collate requirements from different design teams and work with our systems team to define specifications for Skyworks IPs, as well as optimize device performance.

Develop RFIC blocks to meet the requirements of product development teams, including documentation and integration guides.Update existing IP designs to meet the needs of various design teams.Spend approximately 50% of your time on direct product development of LNAs, switches, and PAs for Skyworks RF front-end modules.

MSEE + 8-10 years of experience or PhD + 6 years.Excellent communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skills.A positive, proactive attitude.Minimum of 8-10 years RF design experience in Si/SOI/SiGe processes.Experience in analog design for RF circuit control (temperature sensors, DAC, ADC, TIA, BGAP, current sources, voltage regulators).Proficiency in Virtuoso design environment from schematic capture to GDSII.Track record of designs leading to high-volume manufacturing.Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment.

PA design using GaAs HBT/HEMT.Verilog-A modeling.Python programming.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $126,500 - $241,700. Starting pay depends on experience, skills, education, business needs, market demands, specific job duties, and location.
