$175,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

Job Title:

Principal RF Design Engineer - SATCOM (HYBRID WORK)

Location:

Clearwater, FL 33760 (near St. Pete/Clearwater Airport)

Salary and Benefits:

$175,000 - $190,000 + 15% Bonus + FREE Medical Benefits + Relocation

Founded in 1983, we are a 100-employee leader in cutting-edge satellite communication systems for the US military. We are seeking a Principal RF Design Engineer to join our team. Help develop innovative, mission-critical SATCOM solutions while enjoying great benefits, flexible work options, and a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design & develop advanced RF components for military satellite communications (SATCOM) systems
• Lead SATCOM hardware projects including antennas, waveguides, filters & modem integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn system requirements into working products
• Ensure designs meet military and government performance standards
• Support testing, certifications & communication with satellite providers and government entities

Qualifications:

• Ability to acquire a Secret Level clearance
• Master's Degree in Science or related fields (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, etc.)
• 15+ years of experience in RF/SATCOM engineering
• Strong background in RF design up to 40 GHz and SATCOM link analysis
• Experience leading engineering projects & working with government or defense organizations
• Experience with GEO, MEO, LEO across X, KU & KA bands
