Principal Research Engineer and Research Program Director - OHIO University : Job Details

The purpose of this position is to directly promote ISEEs research activities/capabilities, secure external research funding, execute research programs in compliance with university and sponsoring entities requirements, and assist in sustaining large (totaling approx. $3 M/year) multi-year research programs involving 15-20 graduate students. The position of Principal Research Engineer and Research Program Director serves as ISEE lead project engineer, ambassador and fundraiser, liaison with research sponsors, promote the Institute to various internal and external groups, team coordinator /mentor and point of contact for various University offices. The Principal Research Engineer serves as a principal academic advisor for at least one RCENT graduate student conducting their research projects at the ISEE and serves on academic advising committees for students working at the ISEE.
