Principal Quality Engineer - Bath Iron Works Corporation : Job Details

In this unique role you will be responsible for executing Quality Assurance functions across various departments at BIW. This role is essential to maintaining compliance with the ISO 9001standard which is a key requirement for building ships for the US Navy. Safety Leadership:Take personal responsibility for your own safety through hazard identification and mitigation. Ensure practices/processes are safely executed. Communicate safety concerns and model safe behaviors. Project Execution:Utilize BIW's business operating system (BOS) to execute work and communicate progress daily. Accomplish audits of the Quality Management System and work with departments to implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain documents that govern the quality management system.
