Principal Packaging Engineer - General Electric : Job Details

Lead the development of new packaging designs for Refrigeration products with a focus on Quality performance and architecture. Optimize new packaging designs for performance, cost, and damage mitigation. Design packaging compatible with squeeze clamp handling. Resolve technical issues through failure analysis and corrective action, including documentation and tracking in GE Appliances Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System. Provide technical leadership as required with specific focus on quality craftsmanship, design for manufacturing and assembly, product approval testing including UL, toxicity and Ro. HS, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Sustainability and speed to market. Conduct and support program and design reviews in accordance with the latest New Product Introduction (NPI)/ Running Change requirements. Coach and guide Packaging team members.
