The Principal IT/OT Infrastructure and Security Architect will lead the creation and maintenance of the IT/OT roadmaps and joint strategies for mission-critical infrastructure, based on global alignment with all relevant stakeholders. They will drive cybersecurity capabilities and roadmaps globally across IT and OT, ensuring alignment with established standards such as NIST 800-82, ISA/IEC62443, CIS-20, and ISO27001.

This role leads solution design and delivery for complex projects related to technical and security requirements on a global scale. You will influence technology strategies and collaborate across IT, OT, and QA teams worldwide to ensure alignment. The role encompasses enterprise architecture, project estimation, delivery, vendor selection, outsourcing, transitioning to operations, and ongoing stakeholder engagement with OT, Business, and leadership teams.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Manage the creation, governance, and maintenance of the IT/OT architecture, strategy, and 5-year roadmaps. Oversee the global FDB Architectural Review Board (ARB) to ensure standards and alignment. (30%)
• Provide cross-functional technical oversight, evaluating project work, staff, methods, and procedures related to enterprise IT/OT systems. Document technology for GxP and critical IT technologies, participate in validation and testing, approve validation documentation, and represent IT in audits. (35%)
• Consult with system administrators, vendors, and other departments to guide and direct enterprise technical solutions aligned with business strategies. (15%)
• Design enterprise-wide systems architecture and integration strategies across multiple platforms and technologies. (20%)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology
• 10+ years in a senior IT 4th line or Architect role with proven enterprise IT architecture experience
• 5+ years as a Principal/Lead Architect in a global enterprise or 10+ years in a 4th Line/Architect role
• Experience tracking emerging issues, strategies, and technologies to assess risks and opportunities
• Experience enabling strategic implementation, advocating for resources, and removing blockers
• Proven ability to define strategies that align with organizational objectives
• Experience designing high-impact, complex technical solutions
• Experience representing architectural governance within wider governance frameworks

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong business acumen and comfort engaging with senior leadership
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to gain support for high-risk, high-impact initiatives
• Skilled in architectural governance and risk management
• Deep understanding of strategy implementation and roadmapping
• Good knowledge of security aspects related to open-source technologies
