Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a Principal Intelligence System Administrator to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Leavenworth in Leavenworth, Kansas.
This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
Responsibilities:
Manages and maintains all Intelligence Simulations Systems for the Fort Leavenworth Mission Training Complex (MTC-LVN).
Must have comprehensive knowledge and application of technical principles and concepts of intelligence simulation systems.
Works independently the majority of the time with general or no direction.
Develops approaches to solutions and independently makes decisions that do not result in serious program delays or considerable expenditure of resources.
Handles daily inter-organizational and outside customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to technical issues.
Operates and maintains the Intelligence Fusion Servers for MTC-LVN.
Operates the WARSIM Intelligence Module Lower and Upper Enclaves.
Serves as the System Administrator for various computer systems.
Operates the Virtual unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) simulation systems.
Possesses working knowledge of Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) and integrates intelligence warfighting function simulations with the Intelligence Fusion Server.
Provides expertise in the development, execution, and assessment of tailored and dynamic simulation training scenarios.
Basic Qualifications:
One of the following:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years of advanced technical experience in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity and/or Information Assurance (IA), or related discipline.
Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity and/or IA, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related advanced technical experience.
Master's degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity and/or IA, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of related advanced technical experience.
Possess a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Special Background Investigation.
IAT Level II Certification (such as CompTIA Security+ CE).
Experience as an IFS Field Software Engineer.
Experience as a dedicated System Administrator.
Must be able to travel to CONUS locations as needed (up to 25% of the time).
Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Military Intelligence/Targeting operations at the Brigade / Division / Corps level.
Experience operating intelligence simulation systems, including WIM, MUSE, IEWTPT, and Virtual UAS.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Networking.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a dedicated System Administrator.
Salary Range: $86,600 - $130,000
