Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Principal Electrical Engineer to lead and support a wide range of electrical and automation projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant operations by providing hands-on technical expertise and strategic engineering support. The ideal candidate brings both deep knowledge of electrical systems and the drive to implement solutions that deliver measurable results.

Position ResponsibilitiesProject Development & Implementation
  • Design, implement, and manage electrical engineering projects across the plant.
  • Prepare plans, budgets, and schedules for capital projects and electrical upgrades.
  • Facilitate the transition of new equipment and systems from design to production.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production equipment and control systems.
  • Support plant operations with technical expertise in motor control centers, PLC systems, and electrical distribution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with maintenance, production, procurement, and external vendors to support engineering goals.
  • Coordinate changes using internal change management systems and cross-discipline cooperation.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain engineering documentation, CAD files, and project records.
  • Support EH&S initiatives by reporting incidents and ensuring adherence to waste management and safety protocols.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and electrical system design.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Certification
  • OSHA Safety Certification
