Principal Electrical Engineer - Alaant Workforce Solutions : Job Details

Alaant Workforce Solutions is recruiting a Principal Engineer for our client in the Oil & Gas industry.

As a Principal Engineer, you will come with significant experience in the electrical power plant manufacturing environment, you will provide consulting services to various clients in the energy industry. You will play a key role in delivering first-class engineering services that improve the efficiency of their facilities.

Hours and Benefits for the Principal Engineer role:

• The salary is between $120,000 and $180,000 based on experience.
• Monday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Medical, dental, and vision (Employer contributes 50% for both individual/family plans)
• 401-K up to 4% match and annual profit-sharing contribution
• Ability to work on diverse projects.

Responsibilities for the Principal Engineer role:

• You will design, lead, and execute the full scale/scope of services that includes leading studies and on-site power generation plant tests, analyzing tests and simulations, and preparing and delivering reports.
• Effectively interface with customers at all levels in their organizations.
• Prepare customer proposals, project communication, and various reports.
• You will present information and respond to questions from the team, clients, customers, and the public.

Requirements for the Principal Engineer role:

• Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in electrical power manufacturing environment
• Experience with large original equipment manufacturers turbine-generator control system hardware/software interface ex. GE Mark VI or Baler DECS400
• Strong proficiency with GE PSLF, Siemens PTI PSS/E, or similar
• Must be able to communicate with both internal and external teams.
• Will need to be able to travel to up to 40% of clients sites.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Cardholder
