As a key member of our Communications Products Hardware Engineering Department, you will lead the design and development of digital hardware for high-performance communication products, including software-defined radios and data links used in various defense environments. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, showcasing your talent and initiative.

What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop hardware designs meeting system specifications.
  • Lead circuit card design activities, including requirements, schematic capture, signal integrity analysis, and PCB layout oversight using industry-standard tools.
  • Prepare technical documentation and present project updates to stakeholders.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and support verification of electronic circuitry.
  • Perform trade studies, select components, and support system architecture discussions.
  • Mentor team members and potentially lead small teams to successful project completion.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years, or 12+ years of experience without a degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience as a hardware technical lead on circuit card development.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Altium, Cadence, KiCAD).
  • Hands-on experience testing circuit assemblies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with bid/proposal preparation and project management (EVMS, Agile, JIRA).
  • Knowledge of high-speed digital technology trends, signal integrity, and timing analysis.
