Principal DevOps Engineer Location: [Hybrid | Austin, Charlotte, New York, San Diego] Pikemann is looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the charge in transforming our development and deployment experience across the enterprise. In this strategic role, you'll serve as tech lead and SME for the Enterprise DevSecOps Engineering team-partnering closely with cross-functional product and engineering groups to accelerate innovation without compromising on quality or security. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead DevOps strategy and drive continuous delivery excellence across 24/7 operations
  • Champion enterprise CI/CD transformation and cloud automation (AWS-focused)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape DevOps blueprints, roadmaps, and reusable solutions
  • Set best practices for deployment orchestration, monitoring, security, and scalability
  • Drive innovation through automation, observability, and cross-platform enablement
  • Align with business goals to improve developer experience across the enterprise
  • Define standards and mentor teams on modern DevSecOps culture and toolin
What You Bring:
  • 12+ years of diverse SDLC experience, including 5+ years designing Enterprise CI/CD
  • Strong background in software engineering with deep AWS automation expertise
  • 2+ years in orchestration platforms (e.g., EKS, OpenShift)
  • Hands-on experience across tools like GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy, and IaC pipelines
  • Solid understanding of .NET, Angular, and Python deployment pipelines
  • Expertise in modern deployment patterns (GitOps, blue/green, canary, etc.)

  • Strategic thinker with sharp execution capabilities
  • Strong collaborator and communicator across engineering, architecture, and business teams
  • Skilled in platform/API architecture and automation principles
  • Agile, adaptable, and passionate about optimizing developer experience
