Job Title: Principal Data Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Duties: Recommends and influences end-to-end design of data integration solutions, data model changes, and creates effective approaches to meet business requirements. Implements large-scale, complex, scalable, and efficient data solutions using all available data integration tools and technologies. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permitted according to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 6 years of experience in the role or in a Data Engineer-related occupation.

Required Skills: Experience with query languages including SQL and Cypher for relational and graph databases; AWS-based solutions such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Snowflake, or S3; Migrating ETL processes from relational data warehouses to AWS solutions; Using programming languages/tools like Python, Spark, Hive, or Java to build prototypes.

Rate of Pay: The base pay generally ranges from $147,472 to $180,200, with additional incentives possible. Pay factors include location, experience, education, and skills.
