About The Role Principal Data Engineer The Principal Data Engineer will help shape client s data strategy and systems. You ll design and deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable cloud-based data solutions. This role includes mentoring engineers, building data models, and working closely with other tech teams to connect business needs with quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide engineers on best practices for secure, efficient data solutions.
• Work with teams to design and maintain cloud and data systems in Microsoft Azure.
• Use tools like Terraform for scalable infrastructure.
• Design OLTP and OLAP data models using ER Studio or similar tools.
• Ensure solutions follow cybersecurity standards.
• Integrate new tools and technologies into existing systems.
• Support AI/ML analytics products.
• Work with CDC-based ingestion tools like Qlik Replicate, Striim, or Debezium for real-time data movement.

• Bachelor s degree and 10+ years of related experience.
• Leadership skills to guide and influence other teams.
• 4+ years with Python in analytics or data science.
• Strong Microsoft Azure cloud experience.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Data Lake Architecture, and orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi.

• Experience with dbt, CDC tools, and Azure Gov Cloud (GCC High).
• Familiarity with data governance, quality, and security best practices.
