Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and motivated Data Engineer to join our Core Data Services team. This team is building a modern data platform to support enterprise data needs, focusing on creating value through scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and real-time data processing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
  • Select appropriate technologies and frameworks considering security, scalability, and performance.
  • Establish and enforce data engineering best practices to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Implement solutions for real-time and batch data processing.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data infrastructure components.
  • Stay updated on emerging data engineering trends and technologies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for data platform support.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 12+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale data platforms.
    • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala; experience with Apache Spark or Flink.
    • Experience with data warehousing, relational, and NoSQL databases.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS, Databricks, and data compliance standards.
