BAE Systems, within the Small Form Factor Solutions (SFFS) Product Line, is looking for a motivated contracts professional to join our Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Contracts Organization and support our Advanced Programs Portfolio. The successful candidate would gain experience with complex development contracts, strategic new business proposal pursuits (competitive and sole source) and Requests for Information (RFIs), Engineering/Requirements Change Proposals (RCPs/ECPs) and Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) contracts. This portfolio is critical to maintain the rapid growth of the SFFS Product-Line, which is a fast paced, dynamic environment requiring a proven individual contributor to proactively lead and shape new business captures and relationships, manage contractual scope, customer communication and expectations. The successful candidate will lead all contracting activities with minimal supervision. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, legal and customer requirements with limited guidance or supervision from the SFFS Product Line Contracts Director. The successful candidate will need to interpret and communicate business commitments and alternatives to the program team and management. This position requires an extensive knowledge of government contracting methods, applicable laws and regulations and the ability to develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with a variety of internal and external customers.
Basic Functions Of The JobTo perform the coordination and management of complex proposals, contracts and purchase orders under minimal supervision from the SFFS Product Line Contracts Director. The individual is expected to continue to build the basic knowledge, skills and experience required for effective contract management, including negotiations and regular communication with customers and management and develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers.

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
