Our client is looking for high caliber results-oriented turnaround and performance improvement leaders within the industry. The ideal candidate will come from a restructuring/turnaround firm, strategy, private equity, or accounting/valuation background and will partner with companies and stakeholders to support and strengthen organizations during transition, stress, or distress.
Job Description
You can expect to:
- Assess and develop options based on financial analysis and project manage these to deliver a solution for a client
- Be involved in the critical financial analysis of client forecasts and client business plans to underpin an improvement in forecast performance
Familiarity with:
- A standard 13-week cash flow model and/or three-statement-model and/or monthly cashflow model and forecast cash
- Exposure to Bankruptcy and Case Management
- Strong understanding of income statements and balance sheets and ability to forecast
- Understanding of variances
- Ability to support development initiatives to drive performance improvement in an organization
- Develop weekly progress status reports and participate in delivering these reports to senior leadership
- Lead/Support workstreams within the overall turnaround project at the client and direct the efforts of the client and firm personnel
- Develop relationships across internal and client teams
You will have the following:
- 7-15 years of experience in Restructuring, Performance Improvement, Turnaround, and/or M&A.
- 4 or more years of consulting, investment banking, restructuring, or private equity experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with all levels
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound financial analytical skills, including the use of Microsoft Suite
- Flexibility in terms of diverse industries and roles
- Ability to prioritize work, support, and manage tasks and deliverables to completion, on time, and on budget.
- Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in how businesses work
- A commitment to continued personal development
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in one of the following: Finance, Accounting.
- A Master's degree from an accredited university is preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel, sometimes within a short time frame
