Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant with Utilities Domain and Automation experience. In this role, you will act as a domain consultant, validation and quality assurance expert, reviewing business functionality of existing systems. You will lead problem definition, solution discovery, guide teams on project processes and deliverables, and serve as a thought leader for architecture and design reviews. You will also be involved in business pursuits, client training, and capability building, shaping solutions that meet client needs in a global landscape. Responsibilities include requirement analysis, test strategy and design, leading execution, and designing test environments for real-time scenarios. Collaboration with industry talent to deliver high-quality, defect-free solutions is key. You'll work in a learning culture that values teamwork, excellence, diversity, and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with consideration for 3 years of progressive experience per year of education.
• Authorized to work in the United States; candidates must be within commuting distance of New York, NY or willing to relocate.
• 11+ years of IT experience, including at least 11+ years in Automation Testing, with hands-on skills in test strategy, scenarios, and cases.
• Minimum of 5+ years industry experience across various technology stacks and automation platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Automation, Agile methodology, and testing tools like DevOps CI/CD, Jenkins, Postman, SoapUI.
• Leadership in test design, project test integration, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, and UFT.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills, especially in a global delivery environment.
• Ability to assess architecture and automation frameworks, develop roadmaps, and recommend improvements.
• Knowledge of modern design tools, cloud computing, web services testing, and AI-driven test optimization.

Additional Details

The role requires sitting and working at a computer for extended periods, effective communication, and potential travel. Compensation for NY-based candidates ranges from $134,406 to $174,728 annually. Benefits include health insurance, disability coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, and paid time off.
