We are looking for Principal Cloud Solution Architect - Teams Platform who is highly motivated, independent, great problem solver who is passionate about working with customers that are adopting Microsoft's Teams Platform and Teams Events solutions to produce remarkable engaging experiences for employees, customers, and partners. In this Cloud Solution Architect role, you will enable customers to achieve their desired outcomes based on their investments in Microsoft Technologies including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Viva Suite and Microsoft Copilot.This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. - Performs the role of technical director / producer in support of introductory presentations, demonstrations, technical consulting, virtual event production and hybrid event production using Microsoft Teams platform.
- Manages customer executive relationships through project reviews, strategic escalations, and administration of project commitments.
- Clarifies definition of customer conditions of success and proposes strategies to address risks and concerns with meeting customer condition of success resulting in improved experience, value realization, and acceleration of customer desired outcomes.
- Drives customer/partner relationships to anticipate, identify, escalate, and work to resolve technical blockers to accelerate consumption and solution implementations (e.g., by application of technical capabilities).
- Gathers insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, engagement experience), and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to business outcomes.
- Develops and expands impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, specialists, event decision makers and business stakeholders
- Proactively uses knowledge of the products, services, and value propositions of Microsoft and its competitors in customer/partner conversations to identify growth opportunities based on knowledge of customer/partner needs.
- Generates new ideas for changes and improvements to existing intellectual property (IP), technologies, and processes for designated customers/partners.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, TV & Media, Broadcast/Communications Technology, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience working in a lead customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- 5+ years experience working as the lead on technical projects involving collaboration and/or information and communication technologies (ICT).
- Proficient in Livestreaming software and technology including OBS, vMix, NewTek NDI, RTMP, or equivalent software.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, TV & Media, Broadcast/Communications Technology, Business, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, TV & Media, Broadcast/Communications Technology, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- 6+ years experience leading technical projects.
- Proficient with audio/video hardware including cameras, microphones, lighting, video capture devices, mixers, etc.
- Knowledge of corporate networks, VPN, and security.
- Experience with video and audio routing via hardware and software controls.
- Experience with supporting Windows and Mac OS operating systems specifically audio and video hardware and associated drivers.
Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
