Principal Associate Client Development, Corporate Banking

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Development Specialist to join our municipal finance team. The role requires a team player to work with financial advisors, municipal clients, escrow agents and other banks during the closing and post closing loan process. The candidate will effectively respond to client questions, issues and concerns to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. In this role, the candidate will serve as a key liaison, facilitating communication and collaboration between the sales, underwriting and client development teams.

General Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate escrow disbursements and oversee escrow account activity for new originations
  • Maintenance and monitoring of the municipal portfolio escrow accounts
  • Work with municipal customers to ensure accurate and timely loan documentation
  • Respond to client requests including loan payoffs, early redemptions and payment inquiries
  • Prepare loan closing booking packages for the loan operations team
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify opportunities for process improvements and provide creative solutions
  • Respond to audit inquiries

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial industry or banking operations
  • At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Municipal Finance
  • At least 3 years of experience in client development or management
