Your role is to provide high-quality care using evidence-based modalities to help clients heal and recover. The EMDR Therapist is responsible for performing client care, provide group therapy, treatment planning, and coordinating discharge planning, and utilizing their specialty for the care of their patient EMDR Therapist RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you will need:Masters degree requiredLicensed in the state of TN EMDR certifiedExperience with EMR/EHR and excellent documentation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills2 years experience in substance abuse treatmentEMDR Therapist ResponsibilitiesProvide counseling and establish treatment plans patients in individual or group sessionsEducate patients on treatment options, methods and techniquesMaintain records for health insurance and patient tracking, along with personal files for your use as you work with the patient and create the treatment planWork with other professional staff to collaborate on treatment methods and plans for patients and to assess suitability for counseling services or referrals to other treatment centersConduct research as needed to develop new treatment methods and to stay up-to-date on changes within the fieldAgree to and comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, including how to handle patient grievances, proper intake procedures, staff meeting requirements and general code of conductAssist with general monitoring of in-house patients as neededPay: $30- $45/hrSchedule: Mon-Thurs 9am-2pm (Flexible)Location: Brentwood, TNApply Today!
