Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family and general primary care
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses (e.g., colds, flu) and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma)
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medications, therapies, and lifestyle interventions
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists for advanced care
• Supervise and mentor nurse practitioners and physician assistants, earning a monthly supervisory bonus
• Keep clinic sessions on schedule and maintain excellent patient-experience standards
• Work flexible shifts, including occasional evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
• Experience in a clinic, urgent care, or similar primary care setting
• Proven ability (or strong interest) in supervising mid-level providers (NPs or PAs)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to value-based, patient-focused care and teamwork
