Primary Care Physician - TAL Healthcare : Job Details

Job DescriptionOur client, a medical practice affiliated with an award-winning healthcare facility and teaching institution serving residents in Staten Island, NY, is hiring a Primary Care Physician.Responsibilities

• Direct patient care
• Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults, and the elderly
• Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients
• Patient volume: 20-25 patients per day
• Schedule: Regular business hours with a couple of Saturday's a month

Requirements

• MD / DO degree
• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Valid New York State License
• DEA and Medicaid number
• Must be able to work independently
• Will consider new grads as well as experienced physicians
