Summary:
Skidmore College's Department of Health Promotion is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Prevention Educator to join our team. This full-time, 10-month position is focused on reducing high-risk alcohol and drug use while supporting student wellness, resilience, and belonging.
This position combines one-on-one student support with campus-wide prevention initiatives—managing evidence-based interventions like BASICS, providing wellness coaching, supervising Peer Health Educators, and collaborating with campus and community partners. Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's Degree required (Public Health, Health Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred)
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in health promotion, AOD prevention, student affairs, or related field
Salary range: $53,000 - $56,000
