PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Central Michigan University : Job Details

Assist Journey-level trades employees with skilled tasks and performs unskilled and semi-skilled work predominately in the mechanical maintenance area. Required Qualifications Education equivalent to the completion of twelfth gradeOne year mechanical trades experience or other equivalent combination of training, experience and/or education. Possession of a valid Michigan Operators license. Ability to work from ladders and scaffolding. Demonstrated ability to follow and/or interpret oral or written directions. Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image Preferred Qualifications Some knowledge of trades in assigned areas. Some skill in use of materials and equipment in assigned areas. Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, or sketches.
