Preventative Maintenance Engineer - Magna International : Job Details

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field). - Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in maintenance engineering within automotive or high-volume manufacturing. - Documented success in developing and sustaining preventative and predictive maintenance programs and systems. - Experience in launching new maintenance systems from scratch or overhauling underperforming programs. - Background in IATF 16949, considered an asset. - Strong familiarity with CMMS tools (e.g., SAP PM, FIIX). - Excellent understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. - Working knowledge of TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and other reliability-focused methodologies. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Able to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision.
