Job Title: Press Operator Location: Nashua, NH Job Type: Temp to Hire Schedule: Monday through Friday Shift: 2 nd (2PM to 10PM) or 3 rd (10PM to 6AM) Pay Rate: $20.00 to $29/HR Job Summary: The Press Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating press equipment to produce products that meet customer specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to quality, and the ability to follow detailed procedures. The position includes handling raw materials, inspecting finished products, performing minor maintenance, and keeping accurate production records. Key Responsibilities: Operate press equipment and support processes according to safety and quality standards Identify and remove defective materials to meet customer requirements Understand and perform all press station tasks Use test equipment to verify product quality and conformance Follow standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and safety protocols Maintain neat and accurate production records Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently Support product inspection, documentation, and packaging Provide training to other team members when needed Cross-train on other machines or processes as required Assist with general production duties to support overall plant efficiency Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of press operation experience High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical skills and ability to perform basic machine maintenance Basic computer skills (e.g., PLC operation, inspection system use) Ability to read, write, and maintain accurate records Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed Must pass a physical exam and be medically certified for job duties Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, standing, reaching, pushing, and pulling Occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs), climbing, kneeling, handling small parts Must have correctable 20/20 vision and good hearing Must be able to work around moving machinery, chemicals, high noise levels, and power equipment Work Environment: Noisy manufacturing environment Exposure to chemicals and electrical components Regular interaction with moving machine parts and power trucks If you are interested in this position or others available, please either apply below or call our office at (603) ###-#### Pay Details: $20.00 to $29.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
