Summary Objective
This role is responsible for the management and growth of the Services business within Stellar Energy, including startup and commissioning, warranty, planned maintenance, spare parts, after-market services, remote service, and upgrades to existing facilities. This position is responsible for identifying and supporting the development of new service opportunities while maintaining the profitability of the Services Business.
Essential Functions
- Initiate, maintain and support communication with operating facilities to identify new service opportunities.
- Lead and deliver health and safety to all services personnel.
- Oversee the development and delivery of proposals for all service-related work.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the Services Business, ensuring the technicians are highly utilized and projects are supported.
- Ensure Project Management is supported, and client deliverables are met with resources, staffing and procedures for Startup and Commissioning of solutions.
- Support Business Development when new equipment proposals are developed, providing input on startup and commissioning budgets as well as aftermarket parts and service.
- Oversee the development of Scopes of Work and Requests for Proposal from vendors and subcontractors, review and analyze proposals, qualify subcontractors, and award purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Oversee the development and issue of Purchase Requisition Forms to Procurement.
- Manage payments to subcontractors and vendors, including review and approval of invoices.
- Prepare requisitions for payment and other required project invoicing to maintain positive cash flow.
- Forecast and plan resources for both project and service work.
- Initiate and implements Marketing & Sales campaigns together with Business Development and Marketing to improve after-market sales results.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Travel
Travel is primarily not required except for local travel during the business day. Additionally, some projects may require out-of-state, out-of-country, and overnight travel up to 30%.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction management.
- Minimum of three (3) years' supervisory experience with background in the design, fabrication, and maintenance of chilled water systems.
- Must have excellent client relation skills, an understanding of business management, and strong motivational and leadership skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred), construction management or equivalent plus 7 (7) years' minimum in project management experience.
