Preschool Teacher Assistant - AELL : Job Details

What You'll Do:

• Assist in delivering engaging lessons that encourage learning through play, active exploration, and kindergarten readiness.
• Support classroom management and help prepare materials for daily activities.
• Provide individual attention to students and foster social-emotional skills and positive behavior.
• Help monitor and document developmental milestones, sharing updates with families alongside the lead teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Model respectful communication and cooperation.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).
• Experience working with young children in group settings (childcare, camp, or after-school programs).
• Passion for child development, early learning, and positive behavior support strategies.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced educators.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass all background checks.
