• Valid New Jersey instructional/educational services certificate such as: School Social Worker
• At least three (3) years working in public education, with preference to individuals with experience in early childhood education.
• Demonstrated ability to work with early childhood stakeholders (e.g., classroom teachers, administrators, families, community member, family workers and social workers) for the purpose of supporting preschool students.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of early childhood education, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to early childhood education.
• Have knowledge and training in early childhood education, child development, the four levels of the Pyramid Model, and Positive Behavior Supports.
• Have experience developing and implementing behavioral support plans for students who demonstrate persistent behavior-related difficulties.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Starting Salary: $62,147
