The Role

You'll play a key role in aligning our solutions with customer needs. You'll deliver engaging product demos, manage successful trials, and ensure a smooth technical sales process.

Working closely with the Sales Team, you'll create tailored proposals and bridge communication between customers and our product/engineering teams. Your focus will include integration, feature prioritization, and technical project management.

Staying up to date with Nomia's evolving tech landscape and that of our competitors is key. You'll also build strong relationships with technical stakeholders to support collaboration and long-term success.

Understanding Customer Needs and Demonstrating Solutions:

  • Assist the Sales team in positioning Nomia's capabilities during customer engagements.
  • Deeply understand customer pain points and align solutions to their specific needs.
  • Evaluate and qualify technical aspects of new opportunities for strategic fit.
  • Deliver clear and tailored technical presentations, demos, and solution architectures.
  • Support sales efforts by identifying needs, contributing to architecture, and offering solution design insights.

Managing Pilots, Proof of Concept Initiatives & Proposals Development:

  • Clearly articulate Nomia's value proposition and technical benefits.
  • Lead pilot and proof-of-concept initiatives, ensuring successful execution and a smooth customer experience.
  • Provide guidance and training to customers during POC phases.
  • Contribute to the development of persuasive, technically sound proposals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to craft compelling customized technical solutions.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for prospective customers, addressing queries related to integrations, system architecture, and roadmap alignment.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable, understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize features based on customer feedback and business objectives.
  • Keep internal teams informed of technical developments affecting customer conversations.

Continuous Learning, Adaptation, and Relationship Building:

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in technology, adapting knowledge to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with technical stakeholders.
  • Represent Nomia at customer meetings and industry events to demonstrate technical thought leadership.

Skills/Qualifications

Strong Technical Background:

  • Over 5 years experience in roles relating to technical pre-sales, and sales/solutions engineering and architecture specifically a SaaS or technology-focused environment.
  • Solid understanding of software development, cloud computing, and related technologies.
  • Good edge and understanding of upcoming Artificial intelligence concepts
  • Experience with SaaS API's (REST), security standards, and user experience considerations.
  • Ability to identify product enhancements and resolve technical issues impacting customer operations.

Excellent Presentational and Communication Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Customer-Centric Approach and Continuous Learning Mindset:

  • Demonstrated success in understanding and solving for customer needs.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Relationship Building Skills:

  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in building and nurturing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Practical Experience.
