With locations in Avon and West Hartford, we re known for our naturally leavened breads, prepared foods, and a team that leads with kindness and hustle.

We re looking for a reliable, organized, and passionate Prep Cook to join our Avon team and support our growing prepared food program.

What You ll Do:

• Assist in daily food prep for our grab-and-go, caf , and prepare menu items to order.
• Follow recipes and prep lists with precision and efficiency
• Portion, label, and organize ingredients and prepared items
• Keep a clean and organized prep station and kitchen area
• Support team members with kitchen and bakery tasks as needed
• Practice food safety and sanitation at all times

• Have previous kitchen or prep experience in a fast paced environment
• Are detail-oriented, clean, and organized
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Communicate clearly and respectfully
• Are reliable and take pride in a job well done

• Have ServSafe certification (if not, we'll help you get it!)
• Have interest in seasonal, local ingredients or bakery culture
• Are available to work weekends and/or early mornings

Additional Qualifications:

• Able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Food safety knowledge is a plus

Schedule:

Full Time Hours - AM to early afternoon; weekends required
