Job Description :

The Pre-Media Manager manages a team of pre-press associates with cross-functional experience and skills to meet internal KPMs and to meet or exceed external customer expectations. The manager will manage accession of titles by the team and the setup vendor from submission through proof production for all ICG client-publishers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or directly related year for year experience
  • 6 years of experience within a digital Pre-Media/Pre-Press Graphics department
  • 4 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with budgeting and spreadsheet forecasting
  • Experience with automating files and/or creating automated workflows
  • Proven prior experience in a position that required cross departmental collaboration and excellent written/verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with internal stakeholders in support of collaborative problem-solving, project management and sales activities with key customers
  • Manages the pre-press team's relationships with publishers from engagement to proof production
  • Develops resources within the pre-press team to provide a company-wide knowledge base for technical solutions to pre-press issues utilizing an extensive knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, PDF, and InDesign
  • Manages title setup quality and technical issues interfacing with publishers to assist with title submission and print production problem resolution.
  • Conducts department applicant interviews and makes hiring decisions.
