We are seeking a passionate and motivated Respiratory Care Practitioner (Pre-Licensure) to join our dynamic team at St. Agnes Hospital. This PRN position offers a unique opportunity to grow and make a difference in patients' lives.

What You Will Do:

  • Administer medications and treatments to patients under supervision.
  • Deliver and assess patient responses to therapies and report findings.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
  • Provide education to patients regarding diseases, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and participate in rapid response situations.
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and patient needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an associate's degree in Respiratory Care.
  • No prior experience required, making it a perfect opportunity for recent graduates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively using speech.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Vision and hearing capabilities to monitor patient conditions.
  • Occasional lifting of heavier objects (up to 50 lbs) and patient mobility assistance.

Certification Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association.
  • Must obtain Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) within 6 months or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within 12 months post-hire (National Board for Respiratory Care).
