Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of SJRCS. - Collaborate with the preschool teachers and resource teacher to establish a consistent foundation for learning. - Support the lead teacher with classroom routines, make copies, decorate bulletin boards, display student work, deliver instruction to small groups of students, and any other assistance the young children may need. - Practice positive, consistent discipline in the classroom. - Help organize and attend field trips. - Have positive communication with parents. - Attend weekly faculty and team meetings. Skills required: - Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church. - Support subjects taught, instructional methods and strategies, and curriculum differentiation. - Knowledge of child development, learning, and behavior specific to preschool grade levels.
