About the Role – Practice Manager
The Practice Manager oversees the overall operations of the hospital, ensuring:
- Smooth day-to-day functioning
- Financial profitability
- High standards of veterinary care
You will focus on optimizing hospital performance, improving operational efficiency, and managing/supporting hospital teams to deliver excellent veterinary care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong background in veterinary hospital management
- Experience managing multiple teams
- Skills in staff development, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to align with strategic goals and industry standards
- Ensure consistency in procedures and quality of care across all teams
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers, team leads, and team members
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Oversee Member service processes and resolve escalated concerns
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, AAHA, and state veterinary board regulations
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term strategies for performance and satisfaction
- Manage inventory control, stocking levels, and expense control
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Veterinary Science, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing multiple teams

Preferred
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) certification
Compensation
Pay: $75,000 – $85,000 per year

Schedule
- 8 or 10 hour shifts
- Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed
