AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Practice Management to join our team in New York. This role provides operational support to one or more practice groups, working closely with Practice Managers, Practice Group Leaders, and attorneys to drive workflow efficiency, improve processes, support talent development, and enable business operations.

The Senior Coordinator will:

  • Coordinate day-to-day practice group operations, including meetings, reports, initiatives, and onboarding materials.
  • Track projects, priorities, staffing levels, utilization, billable hours, and key performance metrics; prepare financial and operational reports for leadership.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of timekeepers; maintain check-ins with junior attorneys.
  • Assist with practice group meetings, events, and associate development initiatives.
  • Partner with firm administrative teams to advance training, resource allocation, and practice management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • 2+ years of project coordination/management experience with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
