- The Global Transmission Calibration Engineer will be responsible playing an integral part for developing the customer driving experience as well as optimizing fuel economy.
- Key activities include developing, verifying and releasing transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications, performing hands-on, in-vehicle calibration development work, supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across environmental conditions and other assigned powertrain development activities.
- In addition, this position will work to coordinate activities of global teams conducting various aspects of vehicle development for global markets.
- This position will work with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab to meet objectives.
- This role is responsible for working with a global team to manage transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
- 3 Years experience in Powertrain Calibration or related field
- INCA/Canalyzer experience
- Prior Automotive Experience (University SAE or other experience is acceptable)
- Excellent written and Oral communication skills MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Product Proficiency Desire to perform in-vehicle test and development work in addition to analysis desk work
- Willingness to work with global teams
